CM 306 - Biblical Counseling II - Kathy Shive - Spring Semester A
Mondays, 6 - 8 p.m., Jan. 16 - Mar. 5

This semester, we will focus on the practical aspects of counseling specific issues: depression, anger, marital problems, worry, etc.  Students will also learn how to minister the Scriptures, discern idols of the heart, control the sessions, monitor progress, "graduate out" counselees, and follow up.  Required for Biblical Counseling Concentration.

BI 230 - The Biblical Woman - Deniece Proctor & Cathy Costanza - Spring Semester A
Tuesdays, 6 - 8 p.m., Jan. 17 - Feb. 28

This course will involve studying about the successes and failures of different women in the Bible.  IN addition, specific teachings will be given emphasizing how to be a biblical woman in today's age through prayer, Bible study, Scripture memorization, fellowship, service, and accountability.  Required for Women's Ministries Concentration.

CM 303 - The Prison Epistles - Rob Hall - Spring Semester A
Thursdays, 6 - 8 p.m., Jan. 19 - Mar. 1

This course is concerned with educating students about the purpose and application of the apostle Paul's letters written to the churches while he was in prison.  This course will also help them identify the current threat of false teaching, how it can affect the believer and the body of Christ, and how to overcome those issues based on applying the truth of God's Word.  Required for graduation.

BI 212 - Handling Hot Topics of Our Day - Shannon Dann - Spring Semester B
Tuesdays, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., Mar. 13 - Apr. 24

This course is concerned with educating students about what the Bible has to say about some of the controversial subjects of today, as well as helping them to share biblical truth when confronted with questions on these subjects.  Students will also see the impact of these hot topics on these subjects.  Students will also see the impact of these hot topics on modern day society and how the Christian is to respond.  Required for concentrations: Pastoral, Biblical Counseling, & Women's Ministries

BI 201 - New Testament Survey - Rich Costanza - Spring Semester B
Thursdays, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., Mar. 15 - Apr. 26

A course presenting a book-by-book look at the books known as the New Testament in our Bible.  Special attention is given to the human writer, date of events, setting, content, key verses, interesting features, and doctrinal teaching and/or application for us today in each book.  (This is a 2-credit-hour course and does require outside work: reading, studying, researching, writing.)  Required for graduation.
